Hi my name is Amber Broughton and I am a multidisciplinary artist with drawing as my primary medium. I live on the mountainous coast of West Cork, Ireland. I find inspiration in the elemental and ephemeral nature of my environment. The ever changing landscape I surround myself in, supports my investigation into my own experienced psychological and emotional landscape. Sometimes my work shows up honouring the nature based environment that supports me, and sometimes the work takes on a more visceral approach, challenging myself to put forward aspects of life that exist but often go without discussion.
